BCLA Summer Reading Club 2015

In August of 2014 Rain In Spain Creative Studio was asked by the BC Library Association to create the artwork for their 2015 Summer Reading Club. The annual reading club is meant to encourage school age kids (especially boys) to keep reading over summer break.

Given the theme of “Build It!”, RISCS helped develop a campaign built around two craft-bots, Mak-R and Bill Dit, and their adventure through a world of crafts and crafting supplies with only their Maker Guide to help them.

We eventually created a poster, a reading record for logging books read, stickers, and a website, take a look.

Listen to my interview with Jason Kuffler of Librarians on the Radio as we discuss this project.
